ERAS in the Philippines

The Medical City (TMC) in Pasig City is the Philippines' first ERAS Center of Excellence, a status achieved by pioneering the ERAS Society-supervised protocol after completing EIP training in late 2015. Under TMC’s leadership, the official ERAS Society Philippines was established in 2016. Our goals are to integrate ERAS as the standard of care by incorporating its principles into surgical, anesthesia, and nursing training, and to help other hospitals establish their own ERAS teams through formal training and continuing medical education (CME).
